Somewhere In Pennsylvania

Good morning! I’m barely awake, having been up for only half a cup of coffee, but I want to get this out before the bus leaves the Flying J that we stayed in last night. To bring you up to speed on a few things very quickly:

1. We had a GREAT time at the Clearfield fair. Two fun shows for huge, appreciative crowds. After the second show, we did a fan hang at Dinger’s, a local sports bar, and got to spend some quality time with Ryan’s most ardent supporters.

While at the fair, we did a short video for Michelob Ultra – Ryan’s favorite beer. It’s over on the video page under Just for Fun. Now we’re going to contact Michelob and see if they’re interested in a sponsorship deal. I’ll keep you posted on that.

2. I also did a video about Eddie, my new Spector Coda 4-string. Stuart and his fine crew built this bass especially for my work with Ryan, and did it in record time. You can see that video on the Videos and Gear pages.

3. We had a day off yesterday, and I spent it catching up on work for David Nordschow Amplification, and doing some shopping. We then went to hang at Champs, an awesome sports bar with one of the best menus I’ve ever seen in such an establishment. We also met Ben Salinas, a magician that entertains guests there.

I’m on the run as the bus leaves soon for today’s show. Below are a few shots for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s hoping everyone is doing well, and enjoying life as much as I am. I’ll see you again soon. Until then,

Keep Thumpin’!
